Dr. Jeff S. Pendergraft was born in Kansas City, Missouri and raised on a Quarter Horse farm. He received his B.S. (1991), M.S. (1993), and Ph.D. (1996) in Animal Science at Kansas State University. Dr. Pendergraft received his American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists certification in 1997 and a Diplomat of Animal Nutrition from the College of Animal Sciences in 2003.  In 2009, he became a qualified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory from the Intercultural Communication Institute.  He is currently the Principal Consultant for Pendergraft and Associates, LLC and Partner of CHISPA, A.C.

With over 20 years of experience and expertise in equine science and management and a strong research background, Dr. Jeff Pendergraft has provided clients guidance in both private and academic settings. He oversaw the Equine Science Program at Sul Ross State University for 15 years and taught a large variety of courses that ranged from freshmen level to graduate level.
